For the 70th anniversary of the famous Air Commando Group, Xezo created the 4th edition of Air Commando Timepieces. The case is produced from surgical grade solid stainless steel (316L) with gold-plated accents and alternating brushed and mirror finishes. The band is made from genuine calf-skin leather in a dark blue color. The watch sports silver indexes and gold-polished roman numerals on a dark blue guilloche dial. It also features diamond-cut gold-polished and raised numbers on the navy blue outer bezel. The watch has 2 rotational bezels. The outer bezel records elapsed time in minutes or seconds. The inner bezel operated by crown at 10 o’clock records elapsed time in hours or as partial 2nd time zone, all while the shockproof Swiss-Made movement is maintaining extreme accuracy and reliability. The Air Commando is made with screw-down push buttons at 2 and 4 o’clock, and is water-resistant to 200 meters (~660 feet). Each tube that holds push-button and crown is welded to the case. The case is topped with anti-reflection treated scratchproof Swiss-Made sapphire crystal glass. The dial displays easy-to-read applied luminescent indexes, roman numerals and hands produced with Swiss Super-Luminova® material.
